NBA All Star Weekend

We all went to Las Vegas for the NBA All Star Jam Sesson and Festivities.
We had so much fun...the boys got to meet some NBA players, and compete in a slam dunk contest, the 3 point shootout, and several others. We played until about 1 in the morning. It was so fun!

Dakota's Baptism

February 3rd was Dakota's Baptism. It was the most beautiful day. It seemed like Spring outside. We woke up with the birds singing by our window, the sky was blue & the sun was out. Dakota and Brian were so happy, and the church was filled with all of our family members. Grandpa Christiansen gave a talk on Baptism, and Grandpa Hansen Gave the closing prayer. We could really feel the spirit when we all came into the room.
After we all went to Dimitri's Pizzaria for lunch, and then later all the boy cousins went to play indoor soccer. It was a blast!
It was a Great Special Day!
We are so Happy & Proud of you Dakota.

Dakota's Getting Baptized

Dakota is getting baptized on Saturday,February 3rd. He really is so excited and also very ready. We have been preparing him for so long, now he could probably teach us. We just love our ward, and they have been so cute to Chase & Dakota. It will be a very special day.

Happy 18th Brody Bear !

Brody had his big 18th Birthday on the 25th. Ty gave hime such good Big Brother advice...
"Now you can get thrown in Jail if you do something illegal!", he said. Thanks Ty, you always know just what to say. (Ha! Ha!) We really need to work with Ty on his thought process.
We are going to celebrate his day next week with his cousins, but we went to Macaroni Grill & then hung out at the Gateway, shopping & playing football along the sidewalks. I'm not too sure the other shoppers liked it too much, it's always so wild when they get together. We almost had to buy a new, but broken Apple Computer when the ball flew right into the Apple store,

Bree & Ryan are Engaged !

We are still waiting for the engagement picture of Bree & Ryan. We are so excited for them.
They have chosen to be married on June 9th, in the Salt Lake City Temple. This is a crazy time with both of them in college at the U, but they are so excited. I will post the picture as soon as I get it.

Snow Fun Today !

Chase & Dakota had fun playing in the snow today, and that's about all Chase can do with his wriststill sore.
Grizz & Roxy always love the kids to come out and play, and they also love football !

Trampoline Basketball is fun even in the snow.

Park City !

Our Park City Ski Trip was mostly an indoor vacation.
The weather was so cold that we only skied 2 days and played indoors the rest of the time.
The kids had fun playing spoons here, and just hanging out. They always had smiles on their faces, and made their own fun.

Brian and I Brought Chase, Dakota, Alex & Ty. We also brought Chance our cousin, and Justin Chase's friend.
The Brems family came up, and even Garrison skied with Giggy when he was so sick. It ended up being just a nice relaxing time.

Park City Ski Trip -2007

Here the kids are in the Hot Tubs at the Marriott Hotel in Park City. This was about the only thing fun to do, because it was so dang cold!

The best part of a Park City Ski trip is the hot tubs.
The kids braved the cold and went out every night.
These girls were by far the cutest babes there.
And in minus 9 degree weather, they still look HOT!

Here is Chase doing his famous trick! All the kids were so impressed by his skating abilities, but mostly by his Drama.

The Cold didn't stop the boys from being very Goofy!
They love every chance to be the center of attention. When they see a camera they cannot help themselves from trying to ruin my pictures.

Besides I think Chase might be joining the Ice Capades.

Well the boys had a good time, but Dakota seemed to have a little trouble. Chase was a pleasant Surprise ! He did all kinds of tricks, turns and spins. We were all very Impressed. Especially since they stayed out so long in the Cold.

Here are the Girls...Lacey, Esdee, McCall & Alex.
Lacey was so much fun! She was the ring leader getting everyone out to have some fun! Alex couldn't find her shoes, and so McCall gave her a piggy back ride back to the room.

It was so cold! Cheer and I went to take pictures for 10 minutes and we froze.

Park City Ski Trip !

Our Annual Family Ski trip to Park City was a little Chilly !
In Fact it was record breaking Cold! But the kids weren't discouraged, they were On The Go constantly. Hot Tubing, Ice Skating, Playing Games, and Investigating the Hotel.

Here they all are going out in the -9 degree weather to go Ice Skating, and they had a blast.

Kota is making a great pass here, and they drive down to make a great shot. We still are waiting for our uniforms, hopefully they will be here by next week.

"AND -ONE"

Kota is on the 'Utah Stars' Super League Basketball team. This is his second game and they have alot to learn, but they are a scrappy tough team. He is a second grader playing on a fourth grade team so he has to work extra hard , and he is doing a great job. He is learning alot, and he plays such great defense and is having alot of fun.
